Downtown San Jose After the 1906 Earthquake

Downtown San Jose, CA in 1906
Facing Mt Hamilton overlooking St James Park.

The photograph was taken after The Great San Francisco Earthquake of 1906.

Before drones, photographers would use balloons and kites to take aerial photographs. They also used ink and dyes for photo retouching. I used Photoshop instead to retouch the original.
