I woke up in the middle of the night to a cold, wet tent. I got into my car and wrapped myself in all my dry clothes and faux furs.
In the morning, I aired out my tent and used my car’s heater to dry my sleeping bag and foam mattress.
We had a camp meeting to ensure everyone had everything they needed for the next few days.
I ventured off in the afternoon and ran into several friends along the pathways created by people walking along the sides of the road. No cars or bikes, to avoid just pedestrian access. It was one of my favorite days at Burning Man this year.
Burners are resilient. The roads reopened on Monday.
