California Coast

Coastal towns, rocky shorelines, and places I return to with a camera.

These collections bring together my photographs from Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay, and the Central Coast—landscapes, wildlife, and the character of the towns along the way.

Cambria, through familiar places

My grandmother moved to Cambria in the 1970s, and I visited often. In 1999, using the Olympus OM-2 I inherited from Aunty Joy, I photographed places she had introduced me to and the surrounding coastline.

Some of those familiar venues have since closed. The photographs preserve a record of how I knew them then.
