New Orleans 2006 8 months after Hurricane Katrina, I traveled to New Orleans on Easter Sunday Weekend. I wanted to see firsthand how the city was recovering. I was studying Urban Planning and Renewal at the time and how cities rebuild after natural disasters. The area the most affected by flooding was the 9th Ward. Most of the photographs in this gallery are from that area. – David C. Hill
