Istanbul, Türkiye

I spent six unforgettable days in Istanbul, Türkiye. When I visit a city, I always seek out the historic landmarks and must-see sights—but what I enjoy most is simply wandering. There’s something special about letting a city unfold at its own pace, with each street corner offering a new story. Istanbul was perfect for this. I roamed through winding streets, vibrant markets, quiet courtyards, and lively neighborhoods.
Istanbul’s street life pulses with energy, but its most unexpected subjects are its cats. They are everywhere: lounging on centuries-old stone walls, sunning themselves on parked scooters, slipping silently through the legs of café chairs. Locals care for them as community members.
Street photography became my way of connecting with the rhythm of the city, capturing the blend of history and everyday life that makes Istanbul so unique.
