Demolition of the San Francisco Transbay Terminal

Opened in 1939 for electric commuter trains that crossed over the Bay Bridge into San Francisco.

Key System, Sacramento Northern, Muni, Market Street Railway, and Southern Pacific Railroad. Both Sacramento Northern and SP discontinued service in 1941, and the Key System until 1958. And later became a  bus hub for AC Transit, samTrans, Greyhound, Muni, WestCAT, and Golden Gate Transit.

Closed in August 2010.

The old Terminal will be replaced with the new Transbay Center. A central station for Caltrains, High Speed Trains, Busses and Bart. The new station will also include an elevated city park above the new Terminal.
